As a San Diego native, Andrew taught scuba diving off the coast of La Jolla for 4 years through his college career. He learned early on how to have a balanced life between work and education. He took the ‘IF’ out of life very early in his years. With a Bachelor of Science in Business, and an emphasis in Finance, Andrew wanted to make sure he could find a place not where he would have a job, but rather a place where he could put his values, integrity and work ethic to use. With so many possibilities, Andrew decided to make sure what his professional calling was and moved to the Caribbean to follow his dream of teaching scuba diving in the tropics. After seven months of water saturation, Andrew decided it was time to start a family and a career. He moved back to San Diego, and started his professional career with Northwestern Mutual in 2001 and ended up marrying his college sweetheart.

In 2001, Andrew’s Wealth Management Advisor career began when he realized that he was not going to settle for ‘just a JOB,’ but rather that he was going to pursue his other passion helping Secure Futures and Impact Lives. He thought there wouldn’t be a better place than Northwestern Mutual. “Northwestern Mutual achieved the longest record at number one in any industry in the history of FORTUNE® magazine’s “most admired” survey, after leading the life insurance for 25 years” [March 16, 2009 issue, FORTUNE® magazine survey].

Since the beginning of Andrew's career as a Financial Representative, he has progressed to the role of Wealth Management Advisor earning his education and credentials Chartered Life Underwriter, with the designated symbol CLU, Chartered Financial Consultant, with the designated symbol ChFC, Chartered Special Needs Consultant, with the designated ChSNC symbol, Certified Advisor for Senior Living with the designated symbol CASL, and Certified Long Term Care Specialist, CLTC, and continues to work towards other industry and company achievements.

Due to Andrew’s commitment to his Clients and his Career, he has achieved many top awards within Northwestern Mutual. Andrew’s achievements and leadership were noticeable that management appointed him as the Managing Director of the Del Mar office in California in 2009. In this role, Andrew wears “Two Hats,” one as a Wealth Management Advisor and the other as Growth and Development Coach. Andrew followed his dream again and opened an office in Carlsbad in 2011.
